About Our International Committees

Executive Committee

The committee oversees the international organization’s chief executive officer and is authorized to meet and take action between international board meetings when it is impractical to get the full board together for a special board meeting.


Programs and Partnerships Committee

The Committee oversees the organization’s international programs and international partnerships. While the staff carries out day-to-day activities that result in the development and implementation of the organization’s programs and partnerships, the Committee oversees long-range planning and general oversight. Director of Programs and Partnerships is assigned as a committee member. The Chair is a board member.


Finance and Fundraising Committee

The Committee oversees the preparation of the annual international budget and the international performance of the organization meeting its budgeted revenues and expenses as well as plans specific fundraising events and activities. The Committee also receives regular international reports on the organization’s performance in meeting, its budget and hence and presents that information to the full board. Director of Finance and Administration is assigned as a committee member. The Chair is a board member.


Marketing and Public Relations Committee

Marketing and Public Relations Committee serves as an advisory committee to the Vice President of Marketing and Public Relations and the Board of Directors assisting in the development of recommendations on concepts, plans, strategies, programs, and activities that support, facilitate, and otherwise guide the marketing and public relations efforts for KIF.


Membership Committee

The committee manages the matters of National Chapter Organization membership recruitment, education and retention. The membership chair develops new National Chapter Organization member opportunities and works closely with President, Vice-President and Board members to make strategic plan and goals for exiting and new members.


Governance Committee

The Committee is in charge of nurturing the international board and being responsible for board recruitment, orientation, self-assessment, continuing education, and management. Director of Finance and Administration is assigned as a committee member. The Chair is a board member.


Asia Pacific Committee

The committee oversees existing national organizational chapters and creates them in Asia and the Pacific region. The committee chair works closely with president, board members and each national president of national chapters to implement strategic visions, plans and goals to expand its activities and partnerships regionally.


North America Committee

The committee oversees existing national organizational chapters and creates them in North American region. The committee chair works closely with president, board members and each national president of national chapters to implement strategic visions, plans and goals to expand its activities and partnerships regionally.


South America Committee

The committee oversees existing national organizational chapters and creates new chapters in the region of South America. The committee chair works closely with KIF's Chair, President, Board members and other National Presidents of national chapters of South America region to implement strategic visions, plans and goals in order to expand its activities and partnerships in South America. The committee members are consist of Chair, President or Board member of national chapters in South America.


Europe Committee

The committee oversees existing national organizational chapters and creates them in European region. The committee chair works closely with president, board members and each national president of national chapters to implement strategic visions, plans and goals to expand its activities and partnerships regionally.


Africa and Middle East Committee

The committee oversees existing national organizational chapters and creates them in African and Middle Eastern region. The committee chair works closely with president, board members and each national president of national chapters to implement strategic visions, plans and goals to expand its activities and partnerships regionally.
