ABOUT THE REGION


Africa is the world's second-largest and second-most populous continent. With 1.3 billion people, Africa's average population is the youngest amongst all the continents. Africa is home to much biodiversity; it is the continent with the largest number of megafauna species. Africa also is heavily affected by a wide range of environmental issues, including desertification, deforestation, water scarcity, and other issues.

The region includes Northern Africa, Sub-Saharan Africa, Eastern Africa, Middle Africa, Southern Africa, and Western Africa.

AFRICA COMMITTEE


KIF Africa Committee is a regional platform that provides inclusive and unified approach for all new and existing affiliated national chapter organizations in Africa to share resources and experience, communicate each other, work together, and develop regional strategic plans and activities. Each committee member is either a national chair or a board member that represents its national chapter in the Africa region. Africa is the world's second-largest and second-most populous continent

NATIONAL CHAPTERS


Each national chapter is consist of its own national chair, officers and board members and operates exclusively in the designated country, with its own prioritized activities uniquely catered to its people, communities and country. Working closely with KIF Global, a national chapter partners with other like-minded national and local organizations to enhance its projects for mutual interests and benefits.
