ABOUT THE REGION


The Asia and the Pacific is the fastest-growing region in the world, consisting of the world’s largest landmass and a home to over 4.30 billion people (nearly 60 per cent of the world’s population). Seventeen of the world’s 31 ‘mega-cities’ are located in the region, with mobility contributing to rapid urbanization.

The region includes Central Asia, East Asia, Western Asia, Southeast Asia, South Asia, Australia, New Zealand, Melanesia, Micronesia and Polynesia.

ASIA AND THE PACIFIC COMMITTEE


KIF Asia Pacific Committee is a regional platform that provides inclusive and unified approach for all new and existing affiliated national chapter organizations in Asia and the Pacific to share resources and experience, communicate each other, work together, and develop regional strategic plans and activities. Each committee member is either a national chair or a board member that represents its national chapter in the Asia and the Pacific region.

NATIONAL CHAPTERS


Each national chapter is consist of its own national chair, officers and board members and operates exclusively in the designated country, with its own prioritized activities uniquely catered to its people, communities and country. Working closely with KIF Global, a national chapter partners with other like-minded national and local organizations to enhance its projects for mutual interests and benefits.
